Default Compensator nut torque value

Guys, I am looking for the torque value for the compensator nut for a 1988 FLHTC (Electra Glide), I do NOT have a HD manual, but I do have the Clymer manual and it spans for several years, and they state 90ft pounds (with red lock tight), just wondering if anyone from the Evo family has a HD manual for that specific year, so that I can have the "official" spec, thanks.

I thought 90lbs with loctite, was for the Clutch nut??? But.. I would need to go Look at the Service Manual..
I cannot Imagine taking my Harley that far apart, without the Genuine Service Manual.. you just showed us what "other" manuals are worth!!!

I highly encourage all to get a service manual (there are two for the softtail). One is 85-90, and the other is a “big twin” 87-90. BOTH are helpful. You should be able to find the latter one free somewhere. It has a yellowish cover.

Also, get yourself an MPC. You will not regret it!
