primary torque specss

Default primary torque specss

hey guys was wondering if anyone knew the torque specs for the main shaft nut(the left hand thread nut) and the compensator nut? got it all back together but still waiting on my manual. thanks

I just tighten it as tight as I can get it .

Dude don't take peoples word on torque spec's for your bike, the wrong # will put your life in ruins, save yourself some grief and get yourself a tech manual.

165#'s is what the dealer told me, I asked cause I couldnt find it anywhere in the HD manual.

165 ft/lbs for crank nut and 85 for mainshaft (clutch) nut.....if you don't have a left-hand drive torque wrench that clutch torque is purely academic anyway.

Put red loctite on both.
