evo prices
Price of bike, really depends on who is selling it, and just how much of a money pit is going to be to get it back to fresh conditions.
I bring this up, since Evo touring bikes in my area, some private sellers are asking $10K, and know that even if doing your own labor, still going to be several thousand to get bike back to factory clean conditions.
Hence washed and wax to gleam the outside of it (or shine up 10 year old tires), does not mean that the bike has no internal problems isntead.
But yes, evos that are well maintained with maintenance proof in clean conditions, will go up/hold in price like the older bikes before then now, and its the twin cams (worse for before 2006), that are in the depression value cycle now.

Maybe, really clean low miles will go up, along with early build dates. But there are 100's of thousands of low mileage Evo's everywhere, as those buyers age out it'll be a buyers market. Plus market compression, 5k in your pocket now will give you 1970's thru recent 2010's just need to find it.
The odd ones bring money because they were bought by odd people who will sell to another odd guy - moo bike springers with kitchen sinks - that sort of thing only different from them to a 4 or 5 thousand dollar bike is the other 10 thousand - i always wanted a FXR but being 6;3 and mids it’s only a road test thing - putting forwards on it changes how it handles
softail in the 3 types the tire and two different front fenders becomes what you like and are not as heavy as the peacocks will all the luggage

Here in Florida watching Facebook market daily.. Evo bike sell really fast and for a little more than Twinkies. The Twinkies stay on market a lot longer and are dirt cheap. You can get a nice 2000-2010 for $4000-$5000. Most of the EVO are $5000-$7500.
i don't see where to edit my post but it should say anyone not anything.

I dont have cristall ball to see the future and I can be wrong but I think there is no way you can make any serious money on EVO Harley. I remember book entitled Harley Davidson as investing object. The author rated all HD motorcycles by stars. Most EVO era models were 1 or 2 stars which means poor financial perspective. Maybe some low volume models? Who knows, but for sure not in couple of years.
A friend of mine picked up this good running '98 Wide Glide with 24,000 miles on it last week for $4,200.
I picked up this one owner '90 Electra Glide Sport with 21,000 miles and new tires on it about a year and a half ago for $5,000.
Here in Arizona Evo's and early Twin Cams bring about the same money. MM fuel injected bikes are a little cheaper. $3,000 to $6,000 depending on condition.
