Wheel question
My bike got beat up pretty bad my house burned down in February so I’m starting with a clean slate as most of the chrome is ruined the paint, handle bar wiring, the main harness is perfect. The rims were already not so great, tires unfortunately were almost new but I wouldn’t trust them with the heat they were subjected to

Not sure, The older ones the caliper and the mount are separate and the newer ones are all one piece.. I saw one on eBay for like 80 bucks.. if you want to give it a shot.. Not a lot of cash to find out.. I don't know of anybody that's swapped the rear out....
Not sure if the mound is thicker or thinner requiring different spacers and where does it line up the caliper to the brake rotor to the 2000 up rims they could have different size hubs as well..
I think it would be a trial and error thing.. Maybe somebody's done one I don't know..

I have a 2010 rear brake on my Shovel....so it can be done, just not sure how much work involved as I found it like that but appears to just be a bracket that is held in place by the shock mount and slides onto a bracket on the swingarm...or something like that...I should probs go and stare at it for a while and see how it was done.
