I am wondering if someone can tell me where I can find true high quality fuel and oil lines? I replaced the fuel line on my Dyna a year ago and I had it all off again this year when doing base gaskets and I could not help but notice the fuel line is hard as rock. That was only 20,000 Km of use and it really does need to be replaced. I want to do the oil lines too but there is no way I can put junk like that on there, my 30 year old lines are not as hard as the year old fuel line.
Does anyone know if there is there anyone making quality oil lines these days? Anyone have a brand name they have good luck with?
Been Using Line for Everything, obtained from my local NAPA...I trust them, as they Race Professionally..
Yes, Gates Injection Lines are Very Good Quality!
Thanks for the replies, I have heard that the NAPA line is USA made product. I have a parts supplier in town that is supplied by NAPA, I will have a talk with them just to make sure the fuel line I bought from them was not NAPA product. There is just so much sub standard product on the market these days it seems you do have to do a bit of research, you can't take much for granted anymore. I won't knowingly put chinesium inside a motor or use it for a critical application. My general rule of thumb is that chinese is okay for any application where it can be replaced with bare hands or a screwdriver.
Look into automatic transmission hose for the oil. It's designed for hot oil, whereas fuel line is not. Also, fuel line with green lettering is ethanol rated. NAPA has both.
