Default Headlight and running lights 94 heritage

I wanted to know if anyone has changed out their headlight and running lights on a heritage from sealed beam to semi sealed beam so you can replace the bulbs? If so what brand did you buy? I just want something brighter but don’t like the led style on my older bike.
thanks

I agree about led lights on vintage rides- they may work better, but they just dont look right. I like the more original look.
when i cracked the lens of my original headlight on my 92 (stone from a gravel truck), i replaced it with a unit that looked as original as possible - including the replacable bulb.
The brand is 'Candlepower'- wasnt the cheapest option- but it looks great to me.
Installed it about 3 yrs ago- plug and play- no issues since.

I'm sure you can. But the only one who notice is you and maybe one other guy.

I agree about the LEDs. I had an 09 Road King Classic. The paint scheme, wide white walls, and spoked wheels made it look like a 1950s style bike. I put LEDs in the head light and spotlights and it just didnt fit the overall look and feel of the bike.

I switched the sealed beam out on my `89 Heritage back around 1990, that OEM sealed beam didn`t throw light past the front fender...

I used a headlight unit made by Hella, it uses a replaceable H4 halogen bulb.

The numbers on the lens of my unit are 306-111-603 and SAE MP76.

Thanks guys. I ordered the hella 7” . Should be here later today.
Next is trying to find passing lights that have a replaceable bulb. Any suggestions? Everything I have found so far is sealed. Thanks

Harley still sells the halogen spot lights I think. If not, look on Marketplace for the used halogens as many folks are changing out to LED.

I found a 4 1/2” sealed beam that’s 45w. Should be a little brighter than the 30w stock ones. I think that will work for me.
