Hey Guys! New here :-) i have 1993 fatboy with a aftermarket wide swing arm, i just bought a set of spoke wheels, but im not 100% sure im doing the allignment right, i need too make some spacers for the wheel, am i wrong for trying to center the wheel 100% taking messurements from the frame insted of the swing arm? It's made for a 8,5" rim and 250 but I have bought a 5,5" rim and a 200 tire
Get the rear Pulley centered..all you Can Do.. Use a string if you must!!
IMHO, waste of resources for all that Fat Tire ****...almost (not nearly) as bad as that Big front wheel Craze!!! But...I thought Ape Hangers would be a Fad, that Passed!!! OOps... Silly Me..

I don't think the pully allignment is gonna be a isssue got alot of room to work with because og the wide swingarm, got the offset kit on the front pully+gearbox offset :-)
Great thanks pully allignment will not be a issue at all, so i will allign the wheel with the frame not swing arm, there is a slight offset in the swing arm aswell so more space on the pully side, got heaps of space.
If you are curios why i don't just change to a original swing arm is because old Harley parts are not easy too get by where i'm from :-)

Oh...I do Not see a straight string...But.. I am not at the camera.. Offset rear wheel won't hurt Nuthin..long as the wheels are Parallel.. Belt runs Straight and True.. Long as it is Not an FXR or Touring Model..frame Is Married to swingarm!!
