Decided to change plugs on my 95 RK... Ordered NGK BPR5EIX-11. Went to replace the plugs and noticed I had BPR7EIX in the bike.... I assume the 5 is hotter than the 7? My bike has EV27 cam, Carb Modded, Pipes, and Supper sucker intake...
Should I be concerned with the 5's ?
Thanks in advance...
To answer a possible question.. my old plugs (7's)
look great! Nice even tan color...
huh. .044 Learn something everyday. Still think the 7 would be way cold
The guy who originally had my RK had his crap in a pile! Everything he did was done right and spot on. I wonder why he decided to go with the 7's over the 5's. Bike runs well, and honestly is no slouch on the road. I could toss the 7's back in, they weren't bad, just figured I would replace them so I had a starting point on plug life. I bought the RK last winter. I ride daily and have put 5k miles on it with no issues. She tends to be a little cold blooded, but im in no hurry. I let her warm up for a few minutes before taking off. It does whip the daylights outta a buddys 96ci ultra...lol

I use 6's in my Shovel and also used them in my TC's and Evo's, I do this when changing a jet goes too far lean, and the next size is too far rich...it's like changing half a jet size.

So you are using DPR6EIs in your TC? BPRs won't fit.
