As the heading says, anyone happen to have a few pics of the wire harness routing as I forgot to take pics on the tare down?? Specifically a later model Evo softail.
I did a major electrical system clean/check up on my `89 FLSTC about 3 years ago, the wiring did not change much from `89 until the end of the EVO era.
The wiring from the rear runs up the left side, into the connectors at the left side of the steering head.
Ignore the battery cable routing, it is not the same as the later EVO models.
The wiring from the headlamp area / turn signals / passing lamps / handlebar switches runs back to the right side of the connectors at the steering head.
The wiring harness on the right side rear connector goes to the instrument panel.
