Hello, can anyone identify this camshaft? It is marked Sifton 112 CS. However, there is no mention of this shaft in any catalog. The catalogs list the 112 Cobra, but it is for a shovel.
Does anyone have any information about what this shaft is and whether it can be installed in an EVO?
Are you sure the cam was made by Sifton and not just the gear? The two lines on the gear make me think someone scribed those on when they took it off the original cam.

Hmm, I hadn't thought of that. I'll try to get some information from the previous owner (but I don't think he did it).
Thanks.
Looks to me like the Shovel Cobra 112. Kinda a bolt in cam for like 9:1 motors. I’ve run it… in the Shovel world it was a go to cam. Nice midrange, easy to kick. Don’t think they had a hydraulic version.. I ran nothing but solids.
Not to get off topic…but take a looks at that sheet… see at the bottom that bandit cam? Let me tell ya… that cam is magic. Put that in a big sweep stroker and manly compression and that cam is super mean. Love the intimidation because anyone in the lane next to you will hear your motor sound like a grenade. Scares the crap out of them it will test the stoutest valve train. That cam makes your bike sound like a nitromethane dual engine drag bike. Pulls all the way through the traps with total hostility and brutal anger. Love that cam. Separates the men from the boys just to get on it the way it sounds.
