I agree, but wonder why my dipstick has a "Cold" line on it?

The forum needs 3 new sections:

Checking oil level.

Adjusting pushrods.

Fixing kludged up handlebar installs.

Call me lazy, inept, whatever. My wife's '97 Heritage Springer has 60K, the 2000 Road King we share has 50k, and my '05 Springer is approaching 45K.
The 1999-2016 Twin Cams are referred to as "twinkies".

Both levels need to be checked when the bike is at operating temp. Any thoughts or comments on this?
No offense to the OP but let this be a lesson; never trust an HD mechanic regardless of his or her creds. Always buy the Factory Service Manual and figure it out for yourself.

I think some of the later bikes are plastic on a swivel in the transmission.

Nothing could be simpler than checking oil level, on any motorcycle.

Here`s how you do it:

Follow the instructions in the owner`s manual.
You expect too much! LOL 😂
