Ive been out on the bike for about 100 miles so far and I havent given my first impressions, so nows a good time for that.
Since all suspension components are brand new the ride good, obviously everything feels nice and tight as it should.
Engine performance, I really like the throttle response, bike idles perfect, on takeoff I really like 24/37 primary gearing, speedo seems off by about 4 mph according to GPS. From idle to Im assuming about 2500 rpm it has the usual lag which I expect with the long true dual fishtails, however once it gets on the cam the rpms are almost two stroke like and climb to the rev limiter (6000rpm) instantly. Puts a big grin my face 😊
I have Dyna 2000i set on most aggressive curve and Im running Sunoco 94, havent noticed any pinging, the stock S&S jetting seems to be pretty spot on. The ocean is a mile from me so Im at sea level. Plug electrodes are actually brownish.
