I have spent many years fixing bikes for money and am used to keeping the labour costs down. The value of the pushrods vs the labour cost of doing it the long way around doesn't stack up.
Anyway, I wouldn't use adjustables on my or anybody else's bike if they weren't quikeez, what would be the point? I would cut them and chuck them in the scrap pile.

Drift gotten. But if I spend the extra two hours not cutting them, then I can put them in my parts stash and keep them for another 15 years and never use them.
