I have two of these that I have the conversion kits for but was concerned about the vibes and the need versus just rebuilding the original setup.

I got just a tick of a vibe with the V-Twin bearing kit. All fairness, I'd added a foot board extension kit at the same time. (Original rear fork)
After 30k, when changing the rear tire, I felt about .040 side play at the wheel axle end. I went with the CCI/Dew Mfg kit and it's been solid for 50k or more. I don't notice vibration any more though .I'm sure it's there, just not noticeable. .'87 FLTC feels like it's on a rail all the time Check tire pressure every day, cold.
