So the Harley service manual says the pushrods are each a certain size and there aren't any other sizes. The color codes are Purple, Blue, Yellow and Green. The ones that came out of my motor are all different sizes, which is good, but the stripes on the rear exhaust look greenish, not purple. Is that what happens after time? IDK if the motor has been gone into before I took it apart. It's a 1989 softail motor.
What do you think? I want to put the rocker boxes on the motor tomorrow.

Yes...Look at the Engine.. note the closer the Lifter stool to the Crank (center) the shorter...as farther out from center, requires more Length...
