Have you guys seen this isolated drive (cush drive), Jesus, just go buy a frigging Honda allready. My EVO gets cooler everyday.

Yep, the newer Harleys scare the crap outta me as far as spending my money on one. Just too much out there to think about.

If the '07's didn't have a problem, then why this for the new bikes?

If the '07's didn't have a problem, then why so many complaints?

If the 08's don't still have a problem(s,) then why this compensator?

Geez, for under ten grand you can buy a loaded, clean, low mile evo and just enjoy. What are these guys thinking of, anyway?

My 96 WG is going to be around for a long time. At 20k miles, I'm not afraid to go anywhere on it.

WTF! It's supposed to shake!

I rode my buddies 2004 FXST and there was no vibration or anything, felt like I was riding a 80hp moped.

And the heat the new bikes dump on you, and needing to get a "remap" for any change, and the endless debates on the best speakers, and Dealer Only for everything and cam chain tensioners and ....

Hmmm, I thought there would be a lot more feedback on this. Maybe I'm just missing the point or maybe I'm just percieved as an *******. Wouldn't be the first for either. I've never been riding and though, "gee I wish this thing didn't hook up so well."

The motor company is trying to set it up so that you cant change your own oil.
They could give the bikes away because you have to go to them for everything.
The new bikes have gotten SO complicated. I see fans on the new 103s because they run so hot!
If I had my druthers I would put a shovelhead on a new chassis.
By the way, if you dont like the shake, buy jap!

Well, I didn't know enough about it to comment on it yet. Was waiting to learn/hear more from people.

I don't know anything about the IDS or how it works, but I will say that the best thing I have ever done to my EVO is have the engine balanced. No reason MoCo couldn't have been doing it all along. Wasn't Indian doing it back in the '40s?
