I hit a cow once. Luckily, it was just a glancing blow. Bent the clutch handle and left side highway bar, bruised my left fingers and toes and broke my windshield, but I didn't fall down. Looked around for the cow when I stopped and he was gone. Must have scared him as bad as me.

Sucks. I've almost hit deer several times. Closest call was Sturgis near spearfish in 02. Never saw it and my buddy behind me was white as a ghost when we stopped. I just laffed it off. I was lucky.

had a friend several years ago get killed from hitting a cow..early am.Right now in Texas,we are over run with deer.Standing in pastures feeding in broad daylight...this time of year I keep my speed down to at least give me more time to stop or evade.

This wasn't on a scooter but was out partying with some friends one night and rolled a cow over the hood & roof of a TR7. had to kill the cow, and change our shorts. Waisted a perfectly good buzz.

I think there's a video of somecanyon carvers on their sports, and one of them ends up right down the middle of a deer.
