Default 1998 Electra questions

I own a 1998 Electra standard, I have done app.100.000 miles so far(159.000 km) 6.000km ago we changed the clutch(did 152.000km with the first clutch) and 3.000km ago I had some strange noise in the engine on my way to Spain (I live in Belgium), we changed the primarie chain and the camshaft, now the bike is running fine again. My question is:Can I go now for another 100.000km or should I better sell that bike and buy a new one? (the problem is,I love that bike, and nobody wants it because it has to many klm,s) Are there some people on the forum who has done more than 150.000 or 200.000 miles on a Evo?
Thanks.
Chris.

Hell if you need it you can either rebuild your engine or buy a new one . If you keep the maint. up on your bike it should be fine . You can do your engine ,wheels bearings ,and swing arm bushings a lot cheaper than a new bike . I say run it till you have a problem then fix it !

I think you answered your own question. If nobody would give you what its worth to you, then KEEP IT and just continue to maintain it and then see what happens. There is another fella on the Sportster forum that just posted a thread about passing 100,000 miles on his Sportster and hasn't batted an EYE! Check this out:
https://www.hdforums.com/m_2554725/m...tm.htm#2556789

Heck, I think I just read in HOGTALES this month that a couple have been riding a Ultra Classic all over the world for like 10 years and have 300,000+ miles on it...

If you take care of anything, you can make it last. It doesn't owe you anything, just stay loyal to it like its done to you. That's my advice. (OR sell it to me dirt cheap and I'll do it for ya!)
