Default Fuel Consumption

Hi Guys!

My bike just arrived from the workshop (replace the seal intake manifold , you know..) and my fuel consumption is now about 36 mpg, and my speed usually is 65/70 miles/h . What happens? I think remember 45/50mpg!!
Tomorrow i'm going to see the plugs colour, i think the mixture is rich. How muchfuel consumption is usually?

Thanks from Spain!!

On my '85 I average 60 mpg if I'm taking it easy. I guess all I can say is check your plugs and go from there.

check your enrichment (choke) cable. Sometimes when working in that area it does not get seated all the way in. There should be a little (1/16th inch) freeplay in the cable.
