I have a friend with an 85 Ultra, and I have a complete stock exhaust off of my 05 ultra complete with mufflers and I am willing to give this system to him,he thinks it mat fit I have no idea, does someone here have an answer to this question.
If the pipes are already off your bike why not just put them next to the other bike to compare. It is not that big of a job to change them out so I just say go for it.
I am almost sure they will fit. I bought the V&H propipe off a 2006 streetglide and put on my 1990 eglide and it fit. Just bought a set of factory header pipes off an 07 twin cam to change out with the propipe on on my 90 on occasion, maybe for a long trip or something..
try it , what you got to loose? little time........
I know they will fit up to the heads. Twin cams and Evos have exhaust ports in the same position. He may need to brew up the mount(s) to the frame but it will probably require a only small amount of fabrication.
I put an exhaust off a 2003 Softail Standard on my bike with a 1979 shovel frame modified to fit the Evo engine and it almost bolted up to the frame. I just had to drill a couple holes in the Softail exhaust mount to bolt it to the frame. It surprised me how easily it went together.
Good luck, it should be a fun project.
