Default Evo Header Pipes . . .

I'm looking for a set of header pipes (I already have mufflers) for a 99 Evo. I checked the local stealer and they want $160 apiece. I don't see any in the aftermarket (JP or Jireh) nor any on Ebay, anybody have any ideas? I could build a setsince I'm going to just wrap then anyway, butI'm wondering ifanyoneknowsan outfit thatsells them . . .

NickD I have a set of stock head pipes that came on my 94 Heritage. However I cut out the crossover pipe between the two and welded it shut. If these are what you are looking for let me know. Thanks Dan

If you're gonna wrap em get some used pipes off ebay. $50-100 for Samsons or VH. You can get the Samson copies Big Growl for $150 new. Check out DKtrader? (dennis Kirk out of MN) he has all kinds of exhaust cheap. I have some 1 3/4 inch drag pipes for a softail you could have for $50 + shipping brand new.

I'd go to a local swap meet in your area, with winter up yur way maybe there aren't many going on, but around here there are 2 every month within a 100 miles. Makes a nice ride for something to do. Might even try local HD/Indy shops and see if anyone has put on new exhaust, the old ones can be had cheap. Just a thought.

Yeah, I'm going to the Long Beach swap meet next month. Probably find something (and a bunch of other stuff I shouldn't have bought, LOL)
