Fuel Tank Console Kit refit:
I purchased the Fuel tank console kit (#71288-03A) for my 96 EGC. In the 2006 catalog it states it fits 1992 and up. It fits but just a little concerned about how it bolts up to the tank. The front two screws fit ok but the bracket that came with the console fits a 97+ tank. On my 96 the lip that the seat hooks
into is in the way. Just wondering it anyone installed this on the 96 or earlier bagger? The bracket listed with the kit is #50036-04. I am wondering it there
was a different bracket for earlier bikes.
