Is it against the rules to try and locate a service manual file in these forums? (pdf. etc)

a car forum i was on recently disallowed it.

Don't think you'll find one here. It's not against forum rules but HD has a lock on the rights I believe.

 

I bought a genuine factory CD Rom manual on Ebay for peanuts. Might be worth keeping an eye open there.

I don't reckon keyboards and mice are very engine oil friendly, so prefer a book!

It was secondhand, from a chap who had soldhis bike(here in the UK). I didn't even know they were available on CD, but it has genuine Harley stuffprinted onit.

 

I bought the service manual for my John Deere baler in CD ROM and love it. You print off just the pages you need and who cares if they get dirty? I would gladly have done the same with my HD if it were available.
