Default Still not running right

98 Ultra, EV27 cam, SE air cleaner, Supertrapp Se slip ons and Harley Down load, I replaced the Rinehart True duals, with stock pipes and slip ons. Runs alot better, but it still hesitates when you crack the throttle, and idles at 500 RPM, when warmed up, sometimes likes to stall at stop signs. Any ideas, crank sensor?? ignition ?? I ran out of ideas and I really don't care to keep running back to dealer and paying them. They said it was the exhaust first, and they were party right, I went back after I changed exhaust and they did the down load, the hesitation I can live with ifI have to , but the stalling really gets annoying, is it possible to turn the idle up manually ??

Idle's too low (on an evo it should be at about 1000 - they're not designed to run that slow), if you have an aftermarket carb then yeah, if you're FI, then you need a remap setup for your module...

Which gets to #2 - sounds like your mixture is off, which if you changed your pipes and cam without doing that then yeah, it is. When your mixture is right (either jetting or remapping) and your idle is right your prob should go away...

I hope!

Thats why I'm wondering if there is something else causing it, The re-map is done and it still is idleing at 500 RPM

You probably need a fuel management device. (FI, right?) I use the Power Commander. Allows for precise tuning.

Yes you can adjust the hot and cold idle manually.

Here is a general method with diagrams. After you set the idle be sure to pull the proper fuses or disconnect the battery for 15 min. so the ecm can learn the new setting.
