Default primary cover leak

I noticed oil seeping from the top of my primary cover recently after about a 15 mile ride. I checked all the cover screws and they were all tight. I didn't notice any leakage elsewhere on the engine, etc. The leak wasn't bad, just enough to notice. Should I change the gasket? It's a '98 fxd.

I noticed the same thing on mine. Just a little seepage at the gasket.
I had to replace the stator so I replaced the gasket. I still have a little seepage after about 1000 miles. I wouldn't bother replacing it.

When I have had that problem I just put some black permatex gasket seal over the leak and clean any excess, then let it dry...that usually fixes it until the next time I am in there whenI have a chance to change the gasket.
