On average, how many miles can you go on your Roadking on a tank of gas? I've went 150 on mine so far (fuel injected). Impossible to tell how much fuel is left in the tank and the gauge doesn't seem to be very accurate.
 \\;
I think I should be able to go somewhat farther but I don't want to find out the hard way when it's completely bone dry.
Depends on bike, 40mpg should give you 200miles, I would fill at 190 miles. Figure you gas mileage in city and hiway, then use you tripometer as a gas guage.
My fuel injected Roadking get's 42 mpg.But to be on the safe side lets say 40 mpg so it should be good for 200 miles.My low fuel light comes on at around 120-130 miles traveled.I usually fill soon after the light comes on because it makes me think I'm about to run out of fuel.
It has to do with the fuel petcock. \\;IIRC, it's a vacuum operated.
My FLHS get's 'around' 45mpg at 70-75mph. \\;I plan on looking for a fuel stop at 160 miles. \\; Which is 'around' two hours of hammering on the Interstate. \\; Also: The Pingel petcock I have does not have the same reserve level as the OEM on did. \\; \\; There is less fuel remaining when I need to switch to reserve. \\;
