That looks like it works pretty well, but I think I'd rather save the $60+ and just disconnect the return line from the oil tank...

Me too , but it was a gift and I don't have to disconnect any oil lines.

Those are neat ideas but I just try to keep clean oil in my bike so I never have sludge to pump out of it.

My wife's '98 had S/S lines with chrome clamps. Doesn't take but a minute to remove line.
