 \\;hello all. \\; My good friend has a 1993 wide clide that has a cracked inner primary case. all the dealers here in southern
N.C. tell him its not avaible .? they can get them up to 90 and after 94. has anyone changed theirs before if so were can we find one \\; thanks alot. \\; JIM

Anyway, I have not purchased this primary case but I am looking for a new inner primary for my bike too, '86 flst.

My son owns a 94 fxstc and cracked the outer primary cover. \\;\\\\\\; The parts are out there you just have to be patient. \\;\\\\\\; He found his at a local indy. \\;\\\\\\; \\;Your friend \\;might bring his old one along to see what the difference is. \\;\\\\\\; It could be something as simple as grinding some internal casting. \\;\\\\\\; Good Luck

Depending on where it's cracked, it might be fixable. \\; The 79 FLH inners cracked around the transmission shaft bearing and that's junk at that point because any welding will distort it. \\; If it's cracked somewhere else from a wreck or something, that can be fixed to good as new.
