is there any block seal you can add to your motor to seal a cracked case I will have to pull the motor to jb weld it and got a run coming up just want to make it through the season then a fresh 1340 from harley let me know I really appreciate have this site and you guys help on harley questions and challenges
Exactly where is your crack?
Never heard of any magic formula \\;to seal a cracked block or case. Years ago, Bar's Leaks used to work pretty well on a small cooling system leak for awhile. Is there anyway you can get a Dremel tool or something similar into the crack to clean it out and then try the JB Weld without pulling the engine?
 \\;
If not, then it looks like pulling the engine and your \\;JB Weld solution would only be a temporary fix at best. If you have to pull then engine \\;then have the crack \\;welded if possible. A good weld could also be a permanent repair.
There is nothing I have ever heard you could put in the oil,if there were I would never use it anyway.If your leak is real bad you have no choice.Otherwize just a weeper,use an oilsorbent mat stuff in where the leak is.Good Luck
