Actually, I have found different info on the web. I found one place that says pn 9058B is the Torrington B138 bearing. There is also a pn9057 that is listed as a needle bearing, but I can't find anyplace that says specifically that this is the pn for the INA caged bearing. So the 9058 might very well be the right number. Wish you could trust the factory to use the good part. Call your dealer, maybe their part book has the specifics.
Edit: I just found another NOS parts list (nosparts.com) that specifically states that both 9058 and 9058B are Torrington bearings. It lists pn9057 as just "needle bearing, cam gearshaft". So I would say you're good on the 9058 bearing.
Just to follow up. I went to HD and had them pull the bearing for the bike-PN 9058. It's an INA piece of crap bearing. That should end any argument about what they are using.
Mine came apart evidently. Got a bit to replace with new. Cylinders,etc, cam and bearing and bushing, I was told the heads seem fine. Crank and flywheel may be fine. They have to split the case to clean all out. I didn't get a list of the total parts yet. First Flush is $3000.00. I am having all stock 80", stock cam, but Torrington bearing installed.
RE: the REMAN. I have heard from a builder and my local that there have been oil consumption problems. Victim/s have been told a Quart per 1000 is normal consumption on the reman. Not going there.
The pieces of the bearing sounded like a quarter in a dryer.. Not a good sound. Lasted for 57K.
Don't get a stock cam. An EV13 will do everything the stocker does, only better, and it doesn't hurt the fuel economy. Unless you like the new power so much you're constantly twisting the throttle.
