I just put a Kuryakyn hypercharger on my bike and really like it. It does worry me what I will need to do when it rains. I'm already trying to figure out a shield system, but in the bright sunshine it runs great and looks really good.

Meggawatt - my Hat's off to you. I went to that link, read the install instructions, and after seeing it mentioned three times through out that if you run an open filter they suggest that you remove this screw that controls bowl atmospheric pressure or something like that. Well, I removed the screw and it took care of it! I love those cheap fixs (although it still runs a bit harsh but I bet once I replace the velocity stack with a S&S air filter it will be solved).

Thanks evrybody for you help.

I have an S&S on my bike. I like it. They are relatively easy to tune. You can swap the main jet out without pulling the carb or bowl, just through the big plug at the bottom. A short, wide flat blade screwdriver will do it, but the S&S special tool makes it a lot easier (short, wide flat blade with a nub on it to hold the jet). I like the S&S air filters. Today, I guess they are "old school." I even kept it when I put the EFI system on my wife's Sportster. K&N makes a filter element for them. Once you put a real air cleaner on it, then go through the tuning procedure and it will fix that hesitation/miss you are having.
