Default dampener for 91 softail

I just picked up a 91 softail custom with a 96" S&S in it. I was looking at installing a dampener to help cut down on the vibrations of the motor. I saw the a few companies make them and was wondering if anyone had any experience using them and if so what brand they recommended. If i get one to install it do i have to pull the inner primary or just the outer and the primary chain off.

You do have to pull the clutch basket off also No big deal back off tension on the clutch rod remove clip pull out release plate you will see the nut behind it (left hand thread ) Pull off basket along with the front compensator (take bolt off chain tensioner) The whole unit front comp /prim chain/ clutch assembly will come off I use red locktite on both nuts I use an electric impact tool for this project If it was a belt drive primary all one has to do is install the fisher unit onto the engine shaft (goes inside the front belt pulley)
