1985 fxwg Vented outer primary?
Hey guys, so i bought a 1985 fxwg from my uncle... Bit of a project still and he swapped it over to a dry clutch. I know i need to vent the outer primary for heat dissapation, but im wondering will i be ok with just buying vented covers for my current outer primary? Or would it be wise to buy a complete new outer primary cover, something like this guy http://www.jpcycles.com/Search/Produ...sults=10&No=10
If i were to go the entire new outer primary route, does anyone know where i can get one? I cant seem to find a single one built for 1985... Everything seems to stop at 1984 models?

What I do for venting the prim belts is to add a 1/4 spacer on the inspection cover and the derby That should be plenty of air If you want more venting I do have a new set from V- Twin P/N 42-0681 cost $30 + frt
