Default 84/85 FLHTC Windshield

Bought the FastAire 10" windshield. They only 'fit' back to 86 but modifying it wasn't hard.

Not sure I like the results but that is not FastAire's issue. They told me what I would need to do and I knew what I was getting into. More like an 8" after the cutting and the wind is coming up right around my lower face. This was an experiment and their windshields are priced right for that.

This note for those few of us that have either a 1984 or 85 FLHTC. I think we all struggle a bit finding aftermarket parts.

They list windshields back to 1960 on their website.

There are a few places still selling something that will fit. I'm just not sure what height I'm looking for. I have several $100+ experiments on other options. This one doesn't bother me as much when I look at it on the shelf.

That was where I bought a new windshield for my 80s batwing! Wasn't a problem, so they must still be available as genuine factory parts.
