C means custom. D means deuce. I'm not sure by your photo. If you have title, does it say? If not, I would get vin # off bike and call HD.

i know c means custom, title doesn't say what it is that i have. i am interested in finding out what the difference was between a custom and a standard...... someone told me chrome rocker boxes and other chrome stuff were a few of the differences.

t0mmy91,
If the wheels on your bike are the originals for it, I would think it is a custom. The factory put solid rear wheels and spoked front wheels on the "c" models as I recall.

The VIN should tell you. Look in the front of your Factory Shop Manual for how to decode it.

The FXSTC had a black and chrome engine, the FXST had the satin engine. The VIN will tell for sure BK is a softtail custom.
