Default Detachable Backrest for 1988 FLHTP

Has anyone mounted a detachable backrest or tour pack rack on an '80's or early '90's FHLT? What did you use? Thanks.

I looked at mounting one of those back rests on my bike. They came out after '86. If I recall, you needed a seat and backrest from a year that had it. So, I would have had to change my seat out. As for the tour pack, if you get all the pieces, it should bolt right on.

Do you mean the passenger backrest or drivers backrest?

Detachable passenger backrest and detachable tour pak rack. Not necessarily together. I just want to know if any of the detachable systems will work on an '88 FLHT era bike with minimal modification. Thanks
