86 FXR No Spark Issue

Hey guys, I am working on an 86 FXR. The bike has no spark, cranks over an has pleanty of fuel. Whats more common to fail on those? Ignition module or coil? Any insites would be great!

Here's a place to start. Make sure you have power coming into your coil from the cam sensor. Had the wire break on my 85 while on a trip.

First check to see if you have power to the coil, ( you can put a jumper wire from the + battery terminal to the white wire on the coil) if not check you circuit breakers/fuses, ignition switch, etc. If the are OK then check your wiring for a bad connection. Next take your shop manual and check out your coil. If that's OK then check out your module. Please keep us informed as to what you have checked so we can keep steering you. Hope this helps.
