Default Neglected EVO

I bought a 2006 Street Glide a week ago so my 99 Heritage has been sitting in the garage feeling neglected. I took it out today for a ride and then gave it a good wash and wax to make up for it! I can't believe how much lighter and nimble it feels after riding the Street Glide for a week. I am so glad that I didn't sell it when I bought a new bike, I will keep this one forever. I hope my son enjoys it when I'm gone. It still runs great after 100K miles.

Thumbs up

Will,

Just remember Harley's old advertising slogan 'have you hugged your hog today'!

Really nice looking Heritage. You have what looks like a Softail Custom seat on yours, and I have a Heritage Springer seat on my Custom. Go figure. My Custom is a 99 also.

I have the original seat, the wife found the Softail Custom seat on E-bay a few years ago. This seat really gives support to my lower back on those long rides. I have owned a lot of motorcycles over the years but I have never owned one this long or put this many miles on one either. After 10 years it feels like an old friend, when I washed it today I couldn't believe how good it still looks after that many years and miles. I grabbed a beer and just sat back and admired it! I hope I feel this way about my new Harley after 10 years.
