Default Softail Custom seat

You guys with the stock Softail Custom pillow seats, how do you like them? I am thinking of trading mine off for one of those. They look very cool to me, and wondering about the comfort. The one on it now is from a Heritage Springer I think.

Wow! That looks good too. Mine is a 99 also and I like the seat thats on it, but like you, would like to change the look, but keep the comfort. Lots of choices for old Evo Softails. I will probably keep the one I have on it for when my wife rides with me, but change it for when I am solo.

That's a good plan, I have a seat for when I am riding alone and one for when the wife comes. Takes about 20 seconds to switch out and everyone stays happy.

I just bought 2" extended tanks that taper into the corbin seat, makes a nice smooth look! so i can never go back to stock without changing tanks also......not that i would anyway i like it too much this way!

I've tried several seats on my 99 Fxstc throughout the years; Currently running a studded corbin, have a studded Lepera Maverick brand new; have a HD Studded Sundowner as well, and had the stocker tuck and roll seat too initially. Probably should start selling some of them, LOLOL!!Oh yeah; forgot had a HD Badlander as well.

love mine, i have a 1990 fxstc, and its funny after a long ride the other guys wifes and or girl friends come over and feel my seat. they say = i bet thats comfortable. month back a guy came out of the local store and said he liked it, he said he road a hard tail and it was really killing him, i told him it was a stock custom seat. i bought a newer one off ebay to my door for about $75.00. ive even seen them on there new for under $150.00. i can tell you my butt or back as never bothered me even after riding all day. so hey they look comfortable and they are. im 58 and like to ride in some kinda of comfort.

Thanks hotrod; That is what I wanted to know. I like the classic look, and since it is comfortable too, I will get one. Btw, I am 68, so comfort means something to me also.

Jim,

You won't be sorry, for me those old style pillow seats sit better than anything I've tried, and they are OEM. Watch Ebay for a nice one.
