S&s vfi
Hey everyone, I have bit the bullet and bought myself a S&S VFI replacement module w/ O2 sensor kit to make it an autotune unit. I also got cam, lifters, yada yada yada, gonna have a "winter project", I have not found alot of info on the S&S unit(besides the drivel on the S&S website) and by info I mean anyone who has actually used this product. I am hoping it makes my MM fuel system run a whole lot better and I can avoid the stealership for good now.....will keep updated on how easy the install goes and how it performs, but that will have to wait until spring now....

I've installed the S&S stand alone systems on 117" motors. Their software was easy to use but developing a good map was not. It required about 20 hours of dyno time to come up with a good all around map. (Was nice to work at an OEM and have access to a SF250 8 hours a day.) I've not used any addon/piggyback system. (On a Harley) Let us know who it works out for you. I've been toying with scrapping the FI and going carb on my bike when the MM starts giving me too much trouble.
