Anyone know anything about the Accel SLM? What i have read, i'm wondering if it will work the the Woods TW-5G cams i'm installing. Instructions say anything over 520 lift the bike needs to be tuned with a different tuner before before installing it. The 5G's have a 575 lift but i've read some have used it with taller (585's) and don't mention being tuned first. Think this might work better on my 01 with the Magnelli-Morrelli injection as it adds an o2 sensor to the back cylinder. Had the PCIII, but it had a very bad hesitation taking off and shifting so i replaced it with the Cobra FI2000R Auto Tune and have been pleased with it, but with the 97"BB and cam change, looking for something that can read what the motor needs at altitude. 2600.00 for the Thundermax upgrade is out of the question and i don't want to do a carb.

 

Anyone hear anything about this?

 

Had one on my 01 king. Went to a 95 and a bored t/body this slm was not good for a street bike to fat . I am running PCIII now, no more ck eng light , has more midrange and gas mileage is way better. the slm was great for 88 or real mild mods thats it. And with the early injection no. I also used terry components which failed. I will run this till i get a carb set up and then finish the build it has less off line power with pcIII this i will give the slm that it pulled hard , but no top end . my 2cent
