Damn Rufus, I was hoping you'd say "RUN!!!".... I'm gonna have to break it to momma tonight that we might be taking in a new stray..... With any luck, the guy will have it sold before I can get to the bank, I'll keep you guys posted, thanks for the input.. I've been wanting to build an EVO Stretglide, this one may be worth looking at.. If I hadnt just bought her Sporty, it wouldnt be so difficult to decide..

Them's some high-top bag lids... I really like they way they match the curve of the rear fender... Nice looking bike!

Check the frame under the primary and trans side. Some rusted thru.
Electrical system sucked..old style circuit breaker system corroded.
Exhaust system cracks at the crossover of rear exhaust.
Carb sucked. I went with S&S.
No power....can be fixed to run great.
Primary chain tensioner shoe cracks. Can cause problems in the primary case. Easy fix.
Check for case crack at rear cylinder base by the push rods. Some late built models had a problem.
All and all..they were good solid bikes...just lacked any HP as a stock machine.

This bike's already got an S&S Super E ( I' like my CV, dont quite understand the need) and new stator.. Might take a look tomorrow... Good to know about the other stuff too, thanks...

Hey Mike!! Nope, I'm leaving all that stuff at home.... With any luck, you'll buy it out from underneath me... You actually need a good rider, I can wait a bit to give up a good deal to a buddy!! I'm better at spending other peoples money anyhow.. Still like to see it,though, we'll have to go check it out..Honestly, I'm starting to think its priced a little high after looking at eBay.. I may be able to wait a little while longer and still pay for Christmas..
