I think the lifter end... just don't weld them TO the lifters, or your engine will make funny sounds like someone farting very loudly. But if you have straight pipes no one will really notice anyway...

I was thinking

if you weld the pushrod to the rocker that would give you a redneck Ducati Desmo!

are you suggesting you can wrap the cam lobes with duct tape to increase lift?

LOL...Yall are killing me here....I think if ya leave the oil outta the engine and just fill it with duba d 40 itll make more horsepower.Then you wont need all those pesky covers that keep the oil in,there by cutting some weight,and increasing the hp to weight ratio.
