Was splitting lanes on the freeway the other day with the ipod cranking out some AC/DC Back in Black, when I realized I was in 5th gear and only going about 20 mph. Not long after that the traffic opened up then I noticed the engine running rough like it wanted to die. So I pulled over and listened to it for a second...it was pinging and acting like it wanted to die so I shut it down and let it sit for about 5 minutes, started it up, revved it up a few times and all seems normal.
Do you think I was flooding it in 5th gear at 20mph?

I think you were detonating the **** outta the motor and you had it on the verge of blowing up..lol, your lucky, bet that motor was unbelievably hot ! better turn that ipod off in traffic.
Everything sounds like it did before. You know Evo's, they make some noises! lol. Hope I didn't do any damage...will change the oil and check spark plugs for indicators.
