Not quite done - still have the leather dash cover to make - but I fired my '87 Sloptail up for the first time in nearly 2 years. new crate motor with an S&S E and a Dyna S ignition. Fired on the first try. Set the idle, adjusted the mixture a bit, adjusted the accelerator pump, and off we went. Rode the back roads around my "loop" and all went well. Now I gotta get the registration renewed before the boogie-man catches up with me.

 

Nice ride....and I am not talking just about your mower...
...red looks pretty slick on that back wheel.
