Default jetting question after cam install

I am getting ready to drop in the ev-27 in my evo. I have 46 pilot jet and 185 main currently. The instructions with the cam say you may have to goto a 48-50 pilot jet and 195 main. Have any of you that have done the cam swap did this or what jetting are you guys using. Any help would be great thanks.

too rich in my opinion, I dropped a Dave Mackie DM500 into my Evo (similiar to the 27 and stayed about where you are.

Wow, that does sound rich. EV-27 isn't a drastic departure from stage one. Drop in some new plugs after the cam install and take a look at them after 100 miles or so. Mine is an EFI, I use a Revtech DFO that I have had to lean out a bit after installing the cam.
