I thought I could handle being an evo guy but, I guess I'm not up to the task. I will be selling my 93 ELG classic. You will be able to see the ad this week on the for sale section. If you know of anyone looking for a bike at reasonable price send them to the post. Thanks for all the help you gave me. Paul D.
Fully understand that one, Finally gotten to the age of not wanting to twist a wrench every week so I can ride on the weekend. Pans and shovels were fun because they were simple machines. Late 90's Ultras are a wireing nightmare.
Bought an 11 Limited but keeping the 98 for daily commuting. By the time I get the wireing striped out, the computer long gone, it will be old school and easy to work on.
Good luck with a newer bike. Like I said, fully understand as long as it's a Harley (no matter what year).
Just so you know I will be poking in here from time to time just to see what you guys are up to. I also love looking at all the pictures of your bikes. Who knows maybe someday I'll be really rich and can pay someone to do all of my bike work for me. Paul D.

I buy into the Powerball from time to time, if I got rich, I think I'd be inclined to tinker more, in a nice new garage - with heat!

Now you're talking. I'd build a big garage, with a small house attached, so I'd have a comfortable place to work on my Evo. Maybe I'd get a Shovelhead, too.
My '98 EFI Ultra has had its fair share of things to go bad. Some took me awhile to figure out exactly what the issue was. Mostly, it was electrical. I've had the bike long enough and thanks to this forum....many here have already had the same problem before. Helps aid in troubleshooting.
If a person today buys as 2011 Electra Glide....10-15 years later, they are gonna have the same problems an old EVO has today. That's right though, many HD riders today on average keep their bikes two years before trading.
