Fuel tank fitment?

Will an FLH tank from a 1997-8 fit on a 1996 FLH? Or will a 1993 FLH tank fit on a 1996 FLH?
Looking for a carby tank to replace the FI tank.

There is some differences in one piece touring tanks. They all pretty much mount with a through bolt in the front and have similar rear mounting points. the biggest differences we've found is in the rear where the seat goes.

Assuming you are fitting a carb to your FI bike, an alternative is to use a Pingel gas tap and adapter kit that will adapt your FI tank. If you have a twin fuel pipe system they make a blanking plug. They ain't cheap, but I have bought their parts for my 6 gallon tank project and they are very well made!
