Default Swap gas tank on 75 FLH what years are the same?

I am looking at another tank from an early 60's FLH that I would like for my 75 FLH. Is this a bolt on swap? Thanks

I think it'll bolt right on but make sure the petcock is where it will clear stuff on your bike.
Also the petcock will probably be a 1/4" or 3/8" (I can't remember what size they are) pipe thread type.

It probably should but a measurement would not hurt before hand also how old is this does it have the gas valve/primmer on the top of tank.

Ya, you don't want an old Pan style with the Primer on it. FLH's bolted the same till 84.

The early style will bolt up, just make sure you use washers between the frame mounts and tank at the rear. You don't want the tanks to touch the rockerbox on your shovel.

Actually what you are referring to is the shut-off rod. And while I am not sure about shovel carbs, I am setting up my 53 tanks for a 56 project with a B carb. They make adaptors to convert from steel to rubber lines. Works just fine

I ran a set of 61 tanks on my 72 for a long time. You have to space the rear to clear the rocker boxes and get the rubber line adapters for the old style top mounted pull up petcock.
