Default FXR4 Sissy Bar
I know there are a few More FXR4 Owners out there and am wanting to install a Sissy bar have not found any Side Rails that look like will work but finally found this one and think it will but it's not cheap so before pull the plug on it was wondering what others have done in this regard.. Thanks, Jay

I have the stock side plates ( that came standard w/ the bike ).
LSide 52797-87
RSide 52798-87

Thanks Artlee.. Will check on these numbers, didn't really want to bolt to the bottom of the seat unless no other option, don't want to redrill any holes .. Just so you know Just in case Artlee this number was 8998-Kit-FXR

Mine is stock, came with the bike. How many fxr4 owners use their bike as a daily rider?

Me, as it is my only bike. And daily rider is relative during Winter in Northern Maine. Not hot here now like Arkansas or Florida!

Nay sir. Not all have come out of the garage yet. And IMO FXR1=FXR2=FXR3=FXR4=FXR(S,SP,T,P,LR,D).

I also have the factory installed side rails to mount a sissy bar. These are off a 1999 FXR3...only used a little then removed.

I'll sell them for $100 shipped...for the pair.
